Uncle Remus with the Grandmother. The quick references of John Sr. I could go into detail with each one, but I think you can figure it out for yourself and see that this movie has a lot of good qualities that are being tarnished by some groups that want to just have people against each other for the purposes of their socialist uprising.
Then read the bible for good measure; Proverbs , if not all of Proverbs. The story is set during the Reconstruction Era where the land was worked by sharecroppers Due to political correctness, it seems like no one can get an idea about history in creative story telling.
This movie is not meant to give you a history lesson, but it does at least gives you one glimpse. On a tangent-We can't cover our history with a thumb, but we can learn from it.
Imagine if you have no memory of yester-days, you would continue to make the same mistakes daily. There are many movies today in which I am much more offended about, that have nothing to do with race. The only thing that I think few people would misunderstandably get upset about is the Tar Baby sequence.
And that's because today's thinking of that term is wrong and NOT the original meaning. And the use of tar baby originates from African American Folklore adapted from Cherokee folklore. To think of it as a racial slur is to have your brainwashed by political correctness that has it's mind in the gutter and has a pessimistic view of the human race.

Reviewer: archivefan - favorite - March 28, Subject: Please re-encode in subsampling instead of As the previous reviews have indicated, I tried to play this mkv in my Blu-ray player and only got sound with no picture.
This is because the Blu-ray standard does not support color subsampling, but only color subsampling at 8-bit. I suggest doing this and releasing a v. Until then, sadly, I and many other people will not be able to play this content on our standalone players on our p displays. This simple expedient will enable us to view this film in MUCH higher quality than it has ever been seen in the last 50 years.
Please consider doing this re-encode. Thank you for making this long "lost" or, rather -- intentionally buried and forgotten Disney title available. My rating will increase to 5 if the re-encode in proper color subsampling will be uploaded! No list of greats would be complete without the unassuming duo of twin brothers George and Joseph Mothiba , who have been creating afro-infused, tribal house long before it became the wave to do so. Revolution would be the last to admit it, but this song still remains a South African house classic. Before DJ Cleo veered into the realm of caricature, singing about WhatsApp, Facebook and every other social media platform you could think off, he was a producer with signature bass lines and menacing drum patterns.
Eskhaleni Extension 2 displays the full range of his musical talent. Produced by Sis n Jones before the untimely passing of Art Jone s one half of the duo , the song has all the features of a deep house banger: mellow chords, an orchestral section and a buoyant, semi-motivational chorus.
House trio Kentphonik left an unforgettable mark on the South African house scene. The DJ group first announced their skills behind the boards with "uWrongo," a bass-heavy song featuring Ntsiki Mazwai. Using xylophone taps, the song works its way into a jazz solo that soars before settling back into a laid-back Rhodes section.
The second track on the album, " Seconds," went on to become a permanent fixture on dance floors across the region. Next year's Grammy nominations are in and Africa showed up and out!
